"Am I seeing things?" Kate looked after the cop pursuing a young punk.
"If you are, at least we're on the same trip." Jack didn't know what was going on. He was pretty sure that he hadn't, nor had his wife, just seen Geoffrey Tennant get out of a police cruiser, driver's seat. Really, he doubted he saw the officer get out--he heard the door, and painted in the rest. He looked around and saw the diner sign.
"You're sweet, think they'll seat us both?"
Kate laughed and smacked him in the chest. "Bet the waitress can fill us in."

I'd love it if someone would drabble the sequel. Or the prequel. Or something utterly unrelated, or 14 word fic.
