2011 C6D Midsummer Santa Fic Exchange

Midsummer Santa is the annual C6D fic exchange, where you get to request and write fic for any of our wonderful Canadian fandoms. This year we're making the move to the Archive Of Our Own. \o/ Please read the rules and the FAQ, which will explain how to sign up. If anything is unclear, you can contact me or comment here.

If you don't have an account at AO3, comment below or email me at midsummerc6d@gmail.com. I will rustle up some invites.

The deadline for registration is Sunday 22 May 2011 11:30PM CDT. Late registrations will not be accepted.

In the interest of simplicity, all deadlines are CDT (Central Time; Chicago Time). If you are like me and find time zones boggling, I suggest adding FoxClocks to your Firefox add-ons, or bookmarking this page.

Also, if you need any help with tags (for example, someone wanting to request a pairing that isn't already canonical), please contact Aka or me! (She has most of the C6D fandoms, but I could help you in a pinch.)

I've already had requests for: Alex Bresnyachuk, The Red Violin, and Trigger. Do you want me to send them to you in clumps? I have no idea how many requests might come in, so let me know what works best for you. *g*

I've created tags for The Red Violin and Trigger, and told Aka about the Alex tag. You can send requests in clumps every few days. : )

Excuse me; I'm trying to sign up but am getting an error message complaining about non-canonical character, fandom, and 'ship names (I've requested new tags as appropriate) and also saying that I can only select 5 of the 6 "category" (F/F, F/M, etc.) tags for each request. I specifically want to select all six for all of my requests and for one in particular, not just for "ease of matching" but as kind of a political statement (it's possible for one story to be/have ALL six). Is there anything you can do about this or do I have to deselect one?

I've corrected the category options to "6", so you should be able to select all, now. Tags, I think Luzula has addressed, but let me know if you have any other issues.

I would like a relationship tag for Jules Callaghan/Donna Sabine, and a character one for Guy in the Convenience Store (Twitch City).

Thank you. Could you also see about creating a fandom tag for Dance Me Outside? There doesn't seem to be one yet. Ditto Sandra (Last Night).

Have created the fandom tag. "Sandra (Last Night)" seems to exist and be canonical already!
