FIRST POST! Where can we find your stuff?
Apr. 7th, 2011 09:03 amGreetings and salutations, and welcome to the brand-shiny-new
c6d here on Dreamwidth! If you have Canadian Six Degrees fanworks of any kind -- fic, art, filk, fanmixes, recs, meta, show writeups, picspams, reviews, podfic, and other things I haven't thought of -- we want them!
However, I know a whole lot of you who have joined the comm have years and years of fic already wrtten. WHICH IS AWESOME! But for those of us who are new (or relatively new) to the wonderful world of C6D, could you tell us where we can find your stuff?
Drop a comment, let us know where to find you, and feel free to say other random things about how you found C6D, what bunnies you might be chasing down right now, what your favorite Headstones song is... :)

I'm helens78 (Helens), and you can find me at...
Date: 2011-04-07 04:10 pm (UTC)I got into C6D after being very into due South for several months. :D It started with Paul Gross, and then moved to Callum, and then finally I caught the Hugh flu late last year and have yet to recover. :)
I've written some BSG starring Leoben (sometimes many Leobens), BSG/Eastwick, a little bit of Durham County crossed over with due South, one Durham County/Wilby Wonderful crossover, Gunless, a little bit of Wilby Wonderful on its own, I dragged Lew Ashby from Californication into a due South story once, and I am amused as hell to say that I have also written my C6D RPF OTP, Hugh Dillon and his microphone stand.
More C6D in the pipeline: Flashpoint, more Durham County/due South, and somewhere down the road, Ellen Page fic. I don't even know what and I'm not sure I care, I just love her.
My favorite Headstones song is "Reframed", hands down, although watching Hugh sing "Sympathy For The Devil" was pretty epic. :)

Date: 2011-04-07 05:47 pm (UTC)I've got a bajillion c6d fics, including due South, Hard Core Logo, Slings & Arrows, Wilby Wonderful, due South/Durham County crossovers, Inception, Canadian Actor RPF, and what is quite possibly the only SouthLAnd/Hard Core Logo crossover in existence. ;-)
Oh gosh favorite Headstones song. I love nearabout all of them extravagantly, but it's hard to beat "Fuck You" for sheer adolescent singalong joy.
*waves at new people*

Date: 2011-04-07 06:19 pm (UTC)There is also due South (and some non C6D) on AO3, I've got a website and I'm also in the hexwood dS archive (the AO3 has the best proofreading).
I've not viewed the other fandoms. Yet.

Date: 2011-04-07 07:34 pm (UTC)My vids and more stuff, like CKR interviews, are collected at my YouTube channel for the time being. http://www.youtube.com/user/amaryllis74
As soon as AO3 provides the possibility of archiving fanart, you'll find my stuff there also. http://archiveofourown.org/users/surya
I love meeting new people, so if you feel like it, just say hi! *waves* :)

Date: 2011-04-08 01:55 am (UTC)However, I do my best to encourage others to make C6D fanworks by running as many challenges as I can and not go crazy.
My favourite Headstones song would have to be Blond & Blue, because if I ever get an earworm, it's a total antidote. Kills even annoying kids' tv show themes! And it makes wingfic canon!

Date: 2011-04-08 05:21 am (UTC)I have five different pages of Due South and 6D fic recs that I update periodically. I've also written a few DS fics, plus one Men with Brooms and one CKR/PG RPS. The index to my journal with links to all the preceding is at the top of my DW, here.

Date: 2011-04-08 07:04 am (UTC)I've only written two short Wilby Wonderful stories (can be found here) but hopefully there will be more in the future. I've recorded a good deal of c6d podfic, though, which you can find on on my podfic index (there's a special section for it).

Date: 2011-04-11 02:55 am (UTC)I write more due South than any other C6D fandom -- and yes, that's the gateway through which I tumbled into C6D -- but I've also written a bit of Slings & Arrows. And one Durham County/Suspicious River crossover, of which I'm inordinately fond. I've seen quite a bit more of C6D source, and I read (and request) fic in other Canada fandoms... I just have yet to write for them. I'm participating in the ds_aprilfools challenge, so I've got more dS coming in the immediate future. After that, who knows?
Favorite Headstone song? Often Judy, sometimes Smile and Wave, formerly Super Smart. I am changeable!

Date: 2011-04-11 03:17 am (UTC)I got into C6D via dS. I was watching BSG then moved on to HCL and so forth.
To date, I've written HCL (Joe/Billy), a little BSG (Leoben/Leoben) sometimes crossed over with S&A or Shattered, a 24 (Season 8) snippet, a dS/Durham County zombieapocalypse snippet and several dS/S&A fics and snippets. Nowadays, my C6D bunnehs are RPF based for the most part (though I definitely have a few more Shattered/BSG bunnehs running around in my mind.)
Fave Headstones song: Blond and Blue--which I always want to say is "Black and Blue". Um, yeah.
In short: \Headstones!/
