Greetings and salutations, and welcome to the brand-shiny-new [community profile] c6d here on Dreamwidth! If you have Canadian Six Degrees fanworks of any kind -- fic, art, filk, fanmixes, recs, meta, show writeups, picspams, reviews, podfic, and other things I haven't thought of -- we want them!

However, I know a whole lot of you who have joined the comm have years and years of fic already wrtten. WHICH IS AWESOME! But for those of us who are new (or relatively new) to the wonderful world of C6D, could you tell us where we can find your stuff?

Drop a comment, let us know where to find you, and feel free to say other random things about how you found C6D, what bunnies you might be chasing down right now, what your favorite Headstones song is... :)

Howdy all! I'm spuffyduds over at the Archive of Our Own.

I've got a bajillion c6d fics, including due South, Hard Core Logo, Slings & Arrows, Wilby Wonderful, due South/Durham County crossovers, Inception, Canadian Actor RPF, and what is quite possibly the only SouthLAnd/Hard Core Logo crossover in existence. ;-)

Oh gosh favorite Headstones song. I love nearabout all of them extravagantly, but it's hard to beat "Fuck You" for sheer adolescent singalong joy.

I've already provided a link to my AO3 Slings and Arrows, for which I've seen the three seasons and mainlined Lots of fanfiction.

There is also due South (and some non C6D) on AO3, I've got a website and I'm also in the hexwood dS archive (the AO3 has the best proofreading).

I've not viewed the other fandoms. Yet.

Hi! :D I'm [personal profile] surya (surya74 over at livejournal) and I don't write fanfic. *g* What I do is massively obsessing about Callum Keith Rennie, which finds a creative outlet in making fanart and, on occasion, fanvids and fanmixes. Plus, reading what you awesome people write (especially due South and BSG fic have my heart), and general squee! I also have a warm fondness for the rest of c6d, in particular Paul Gross and Hugh Dillon. I discovered this fandom two years ago through watching BSG.

My vids and more stuff, like CKR interviews, are collected at my YouTube channel for the time being. http://www.youtube.com/user/amaryllis74
As soon as AO3 provides the possibility of archiving fanart, you'll find my stuff there also. http://archiveofourown.org/users/surya

I love meeting new people, so if you feel like it, just say hi! *waves* :)

Of course, it was Due South that led me into an appreciation of Canadian film, tv and music! Apart from due South fic (all at DSA), I've only written a couple of Callum/Hugh comment fics lost somewhere on LJ.

However, I do my best to encourage others to make C6D fanworks by running as many challenges as I can and not go crazy.

My favourite Headstones song would have to be Blond & Blue, because if I ever get an earworm, it's a total antidote. Kills even annoying kids' tv show themes! And it makes wingfic canon!

Ah, the magic [realism] of Due South! Yup, that's what sucked me in first, and love of CKR and PG led me further and further astray. The awesome, awesome fangirls and ficcers helped. :D

I have five different pages of Due South and 6D fic recs that I update periodically. I've also written a few DS fics, plus one Men with Brooms and one CKR/PG RPS. The index to my journal with links to all the preceding is at the top of my DW, here.

I came in through due South, and for the longest time I resisted watching the c6d stuff because I didn't want to get the different characters played by the same actor mixed up.

I've only written two short Wilby Wonderful stories (can be found here) but hopefully there will be more in the future. I've recorded a good deal of c6d podfic, though, which you can find on on my podfic index (there's a special section for it).

I'm a little late to the party, but hello! I'm akite, and I've been around due South and c6d fandom forever. *g* You can find my stories here: Tales of A. Kite

Favorite Headstones song? I guess it'd be Anything.

Hi, all! I'm [personal profile] ifreet. My fic on DW can be found under my fanfic tag (I also use fandom tags for due South and C6D, but those lead to random mentions and oblique references as much as to fic), and on AO3, where I'm also [archiveofourown.org profile] ifreet. Since I write a lot of comment fic across both the LJ and DW platforms, the archive is usually a bit more complete (though I've got a series-ish thing going right now and don't want to upload it until I'm sure I'm done).

I write more due South than any other C6D fandom -- and yes, that's the gateway through which I tumbled into C6D -- but I've also written a bit of Slings & Arrows. And one Durham County/Suspicious River crossover, of which I'm inordinately fond. I've seen quite a bit more of C6D source, and I read (and request) fic in other Canada fandoms... I just have yet to write for them. I'm participating in the ds_aprilfools challenge, so I've got more dS coming in the immediate future. After that, who knows?

Favorite Headstone song? Often Judy, sometimes Smile and Wave, formerly Super Smart. I am changeable!

Hi, I'm [personal profile] glitteryv. You can find all of my fic at my journal or at AO3 (where I am . . . [archiveofourown.org profile] lucifuge5!)

I got into C6D via dS. I was watching BSG then moved on to HCL and so forth.

To date, I've written HCL (Joe/Billy), a little BSG (Leoben/Leoben) sometimes crossed over with S&A or Shattered, a 24 (Season 8) snippet, a dS/Durham County zombieapocalypse snippet and several dS/S&A fics and snippets. Nowadays, my C6D bunnehs are RPF based for the most part (though I definitely have a few more Shattered/BSG bunnehs running around in my mind.)

Fave Headstones song: Blond and Blue--which I always want to say is "Black and Blue". Um, yeah.

In short: \Headstones!/
